This week as always at ClubHeadBangBang there will be absolutely no Podium Dancers, but there will be a nice mixture of old school hip hop, block party classics, latino house, funky breakbeats and drum n bass mashups, courtesy of DJ Paul Harty.

Paul has been busy playing music around Cork for the last few years, DJing in venues such as Planet Funk, Half Moon Club, Yumi Yuki Club and The Agoras. He was also part of the 'Sounds Famillia' collective of DJs and musicians who merged together latin inspired house music and funky breakbeats with live elements.

Recently Paul came to his senses and has returned to his wonderful hometown of Tralee!!!

Support will be from ClubHeadBangBang Residents Ambles and KinG DumB, as well as visuals featuring the work of Dublin based animation Gurus

Coastal Beats 2004

It's been five years now since the first inception of Coastal Beats as far back as 1999. The initial outing was a small electronic / dance music festival using only Irish talent and centered on the west of Ireland town of Castlebar. This year we see the Coastal Beats tour start in Tralee, move on to Limerick and finish off in the birthplace, Castlebar. It's most definitely a summer tour, covering six weeks at the height of summer. Tralee kicks off on July 02nd, and the whole shebang finishes off with a beach party in Co Mayo, mid August. more...
